Abstract

207
This article focuses on the study of new meanings acquired by the history research method of genealogy in the narrative of the Argentine writer Nora Strejilevich. From the new meaning that is given to the genealogy at the thought of Michel Foucault, begins a comparative reading between the theoretical genealogy done in the Strejilevich's study El arte de no olvidar about the genre of testimony, and family genealogy that draws in "Too Many Names". The result of analysis shows that the genealogy as a method of historical research can be drawn from different perspectives that, far from excluding, in this writer's work, are complementary.
