Abstract

194
This paper analyzes the work of Francisco de Quevedo as a short drama playwright, especially, his work as a creator of dramatic dances. Of all his dramatic production, it is precisely in these fields where the archetypical features associated with his most incisive literary vein are better perceived. The imprint of their dramatic dances will characterize their dramatic interludes idiosyncrasy in a decisive way.
But we are able to state as well that Quevedo plays a key role in the general evolution of the dramatic dance, as their compositions represent a turning point in the development and consolidation of this short drama subgenre.
