Abstract

The influence of arginine on arginosuccinate synthetase (E.C. 6.3.4.5) from guinea pig liver has been investigated. The results show a competitive inhibition by arginine with respect to the three substrates of the enzime: L-citrulline, L-aspartate and ATP.
