Hepatic arginase in nephrectomized rats

Abstract
A study has been made of the arginase activity of the livor of nephrectomized rats. An increase in the cnzymatic activity was observed in these circunstances. And this increase is greater 48 hours after the operation than 24 hours after it. The results obtained are interpreted as a process of cnzymatic adaptation to changes produced in the internal medium.
