Influence of inanition on the hepatic arginase in rats

Abstract
A study has been made of the effect of fasting on the arginase activity of the liver of rats.
An increase in the arginase activity was observed in these circumstances this increase being in proportion to the time spent fasting.
This is interpreted as a process of adaptation of the biological System to this exogenous change.
