Influence of various endocrine glands in the elimination of histamine by the kidney

Abstract
It has been determined the histamine which is eliminated in the 24 hours urine, in the normal Wistar rats, and also the rats wich had suffered adrenalectomy, hypophisectomy, thyroidectomy or orquidectomy.
All these rats eliminated larger quantities of histamine than the normal rats. The higher elimination corresponds to the rats with orquidectomy, followed by those with hypofisectomy, adrenalectomy and thyroidectomy.
