Abstract

Glucose, volemia and hematocrit variations are studied simultaneously in a group of laying hens.

The blood glucose average go down lightly when laying grows while it is observed an increase of hematocrit and the total blood volume remains almost constant.

Relation between the total blood volume, glucose and hematocrit-glucose in plasma are also studied.
