Abstract

With the data obtained in a survey to Spanish journalists, the authors analyze aspects related with the ethics of the procedures for obtaining information and describe what are the institutions more influential in the formation of their professional attitudes. Their findings show how there is a greater agreement in deontological issues than in other countries, and how this is consequence as much of the influence of the dominant values of their professional milieu as of the personal convictions.
