Abstract

Concious or inconciosusly mass media construct reality using keywords, metaphors, concept and images, that it to say frames that focus on the facts and the society they are describing in a peculiar way. As an evidence of the framing theory, the authors analyse the content of every information published in the three spanish major national newspapers. (ABC, El País and El Mundo) about the "Diana of Wales case", covering her death and funeral. Personality an editorial style of every newspapers studied are reflected in the coverage they make about the event.
