Experimental stage on sodium phenolphthalein-bhydroxysulphonate as a reagent for quantitative microdetermination of acetone and ketone bodies in blood. Comparison with other reagents

Abstract
The author has tested comparatively with the methods of Lublin, and Greenberg and Lester, the application of sodium phenolphtalein-hydroxysulfonate to the quantitative microdetermination of the preformated acetone and of the total Ketonic bodies in blood, obtaining highs values by means of the two former wich are interpreted as a low specificity of the corresponding reactives compared with the latter.
