There are many possible conceptions of home-school collaboration. The model presented here has the following features: a) there is no participation in schools because its meaning is not clear and is inapropriate in that context; b) the lack of clarity is due to an erroneous conception of the real basis of the relation between family and school; c) the aforementioned relation has a well-defined juridical form, it is delegated in nature
