Abstract

In a serie of experiences, performed on vas deferens of reserpinized rats, and in anesthetized dogs, has been demonstrated that 2-(2,6 dichlorphenylamine) 2, imidazoline hydrochloride (ST-155) has not an indirect sympathomimetic action. It is not sympatho- lytic drug. Its effects, are due to a direct action on alfa adrenergic receptors, on which acts as a partial agonist.
